Summary: The objective of this study is to identify key research gaps regarding medication therapy for preventing osteoporotic fractures in men. Six research gaps have been identified, including the prevention of clinical fractures, rates of side effects and complications, the role of testosterone, comparative effectiveness of different therapeutic regimens, drug holidays for bisphosphonate and sequential therapies, and effectiveness of therapy for secondary prevention. Addressing these topics should be a key goal for future research on male osteoporosis.

Summary: This article describes a rare case of primary urothelial carcinoma in the prostate (UCP) and reviews the literature. The case involves a 67-year-old widowed male with symptoms of frequent and urgent dysuria. After imaging and biopsy, the patient was diagnosed with prostatic high-grade urothelial carcinoma and underwent radical prostatectomy. Four months after surgery, further examinations revealed thickening of the bladder wall and the presence of malignant tumor.

The results showed a crude prevalence of 10.1% and identified various factors such as female gender, older age, and low city-tier associated with chronic kidney disease. Kidney ultrasound was found to be helpful in detecting CKD patients, providing a supplement to kidney function and urine protein.
