Links between knowledge management and organisational sustainability: does the ISO 9001 certification have an effect?

Summary: This study aims to investigate the impacts of the determinants of knowledge management on organisational sustainability, with a focus on the differences between ISO 9001 certified and non-certified firms. The results show that knowledge storage plays a crucial role in knowledge generation, sharing, and utilisation, and that knowledge management has a significant impact on organisational sustainability. The study also highlights the weak document storage capacities in firms in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, which hinder the generation of management knowledge.

Operation management of academic libraries in Hong Kong under COVID-19

Summary: This research examines the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the operation management of academic libraries in Hong Kong. The study finds that librarians faced the challenge of balancing the concerns of library staff and users during the pandemic. The changes brought by the pandemic not only posed problems but also provided opportunities, such as promoting digitalization and online resources. The study suggests that a hybrid model for library service with a focus on online resources and digital collections will be more common in the future, and academic libraries should be prepared for this.

Rethinking companies' culture through knowledge management lens during Industry 5.0 transition

A unified perspective on the adoption of online teaching in higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic

Algorithmic control and gig workers: a legitimacy perspective of Uber drivers

Assessing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on clinician ambulatory electronic health record use

Knowledge management in higher education: a literature review and further research avenues

Summary: Despite the growing interest in knowledge management in higher education institutions, research on this topic still lacks focus. This paper provides a state-of-the-art review of the current literature and identifies overlooked areas for further investigation. Through a systematic review process, the findings reveal that research on knowledge management in higher education institutions is still in its early stage with high levels of heterogeneity and a lack of wider theoretical constructs. Furthermore, the paper presents a comprehensive framework that integrates key issues from the literature and suggests new possible research avenues in the field.

Understanding relationship commitment and continuous knowledge sharing in online health communities: a social exchange perspective
