Summary: This study examines the impact of intellectual capital, knowledge management, innovativeness, and business strategies on competitive advantage in the manufacturing industry in Pakistan. The results show that intellectual capital and knowledge management significantly influence innovativeness and competitive advantage, with innovativeness mediating between them. Additionally, business strategies moderate the relationship between innovativeness and competitive advantage.

ICT for sustainable development: Global comparative evidence of globalisation thresholds

An Intelligent Cognitive-Inspired Computing with Big Data Analytics Framework for Sentiment Analysis and Classification

Bibliometric analysis for talent identification by the subject-author-citation three-dimensional evaluation model in the discipline of physical education

Summary: This article builds a three-dimensional talent evaluation model based on the topic-author-citation and proposes the ZAS index to evaluate scholars on different research topics within the discipline. Comparative analysis based on sample data shows that the z-index achieves a better balance in terms of quantity, quality, and citation distribution of scholars' results. The ZAS index model further improves the three-dimensional topic-author-citation relationship in research fields such as female sports.

Digital platforms and SMEs' business model innovation: Exploring the mediating mechanisms of capability reconfiguration

Summary: This article examines the impact of digital platforms on business model innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), specifically focusing on how digital platforms promote business model innovation through capability reconfiguration. The study finds that digital platforms have a positive effect on both business model innovation and capability reconfiguration in SMEs. Additionally, both evolutionary capability reconfiguration and substitutional capability reconfiguration mediate the relationship between digital platforms and SMEs' business model innovation.

Remote working and employee engagement: a qualitative study of British workers during the pandemic

Drawing on semi-structured interviews with 32 employees working from home during the Covid-19 lockdown, the authors offer new insights into how employees can optimize their work and nonwork experiences while working remotely. The findings reveal that the sudden transition to online working during the pandemic has led to increased work intensification, online presenteeism, employment insecurity, and poor adaptation to new ways of working from home.

Digital transformation in entrepreneurial firms through information exchange with operating environment

Summary: The changing digital technologies and innovation pose a threat to established business models. The increasing uncertainty in the operating environment drives the need for digital business transformation (DBT) in order to adapt the core business model. This study conducts a longitudinal study on two digital startups in the crowdfunding domain to identify the core attributes driving such transformation. A framework is built to examine how DBT takes place in entrepreneurial firms through information exchange with the environment. This research can assist entrepreneurs and managers in designing and developing reactive business models for market success.
