Summary: Compared with vein injection, oral administration is a preferred non-invasive and self-help treatment option for cancer therapy. However, the harsh gastrointestinal tract and biological barriers limit the stability and efficiency of oral drug delivery systems. To overcome these challenges, researchers have developed Cyssome, a drug delivery platform that can maintain stability in harsh environments, penetrate biological barriers, and improve drug release and bioavailability.

Summary: This study addresses the low electronic conductivity issue in nitridophosphate-based materials by partially substituting transition metal at the manganese site. The findings suggest that partial substitution of copper/silver at the manganese site could be a promising strategy for improving the electronic conductivity of nitridophosphate materials without compromising their beneficial properties, making them suitable for use in higher energy density Na-ion batteries.

Summary: This study investigates the polarized optical absorption and Raman spectra of -5 nm diameter tellurium nanowires confined in chrysotile asbestos nanotubes. The results show a strong interaction between the nanowires and light polarized parallel to the nanowires, while a weaker interaction is observed for light polarized perpendicular to the nanowires. This has significant implications for photonic and photo-electric applications.

Summary: In this study, BiOCl-C composites were prepared using SLS as the carbon source. The addition of SLS effectively reduced the size of BiOCl-C nanosheets, with the best size and photocatalytic activity achieved at an SLS dosage of 0.4 g. Compared to pure BiOCl, the smaller BiOCl-C nanosheets exhibited enhanced degradation of RhB and could eliminate 90.2% of RhB under light conditions. This improvement was attributed to the introduction of carbon material, which increased the specific surface area and reduced electron-hole recombination. Additionally, the BiOCl-C composites demonstrated higher electron mobility under the small size effect, leading to improved photocatalytic degradation efficiency.

Summary: This study investigated the conditions for phase formation in the ternary water-salt system NiSO4-CoSO4-H2O at 25 degrees C, which is the first step towards creating structurally perfect mixed crystals CoxNi(2-x)(SO4)(2)12H(2)O. The regions of crystallization for tetragonal NiSO46H(2)O and monoclinic solid solution of CoxNi(2-x)(SO4)(2)12H(2)O were determined based on the NiSO4:CoSO4 mass ratio. Additionally, a set of CoxNi(2-x)(SO4)(2)12H(2)O single crystals were obtained in the range of 0.05 <= x <= 1.95, and the crystal structures of samples with x values of 1.5, 1.13, and 0.56 were studied. The CoxNi(2-x)(SO4)(2)12H(2)O crystals are solid solutions based on the crystal structure of CoSO46H(2)O, and they showed significant decreases in transmission band intensity in the visible region of the spectrum, making them promising materials for optical filters in photonics.

Summary: This study successfully synthesized the alpha-phase of silver molybdate and investigated the relationship between synthesis conditions and optical-textural properties. The results showed that synthesis conditions significantly influenced the formation of the alpha-phase and its optical properties. Increasing pH had a negative effect on textural properties and crystalline phase distribution, while the interaction between PVP concentration and pH improved optical properties.

Summary: Maghemite's properties can be enhanced by doping with other metals for use as removable and reusable catalysts or photocatalysts. Aluminum doping led to decreased cell parameters and grain size, as well as decreased saturation magnetization. The optical band gaps red-shifted and the composition with x=0.33 showed the best photocatalytic efficiency.
