CARSON, J.A. and K. A. BALTGALVIS. Interleukin 6 as a key regulator of muscle mass during cachexia. Exerc. Sport Sci. Rev., Vol. 38, No. 4, pp. 168Y176, 2010. Interleukin 6 (IL-6) has received significant attention for its regulatory role in muscle wasting during cachexia.
