Colour changes of modified oak wood in indoor environment

Owing to its physical and aesthetic properties, wood flooring has recently been increasingly produced from modified wood. The present work is aimed at establishing a degree to which UV irradiation causes discolouration of heat-treated and ammonium-treated wood in indoor environment. Ammonium-treated oak wood showed better stability to discolouration than heat-treated oak wood.
