Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain in newborn infants: Practical aspects

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is becoming more widely available and increasingly important for imaging the neonatal brain. In newborn infants it poses challenges regarding patient preparation, safety, optimal timing, and sequence optimization.
