When Are Type 1 Diabetic Patients at Risk for Cardiovascular Disease?

This discussion of increased cardiovascular risk in patients with type 1 diabetes reviews recent data concerning glycemia and the role of glycemic control in type 1 diabetes, as well as observations of an association with haptoglobin genotype and coronary artery disease events.
