Heterogeneous nanotubular anatase/rutile titania composite derived from natural cellulose substance and its photocatalytic property

Rutile phase titania nanoneedles were deposited on the surfaces of the anatase phase titania nanotubes templated by natural cellulose substance by a hydrothermal process, giving a heterogeneous hybrid of anatase/rutile titania, which shows significant photocatalytic performance towards photodegradation of organic dye.
