Chemistry of rhenium carbyne complexes

There has been much interest in the chemistry of rhenium carbyne complexes, complexes with a rhenium carbon triple bond. A number of rhenium carbyne complexes have been obtained from various synthetic routes. A variety of interesting chemical properties of rhenium carbyne complexes have also been reported.
