Improved explicit approximation of linear dispersion relationship for gravity waves: Another discussion

A simple explicit approximation to the dispersion equation has been proposed by Beji (2013) so that the error is bounded to 0.044%. Departing from this expression, a simple two-step expression is written so that the error is reduced to 0.0000082%. (C) 2013 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
