The hydrogen evolution activity of Pt was remarkably enhanced by the addition of Sn. The amount of H-2 produced in 90 min over the platinum-tin alloy decorated graphene photocatalyst was 1.97 times higher than that of Pt-graphene, and the highest apparent quantum efficiency reached 87.2% at 430 nm.
