Merging visible-light photoredox and Lewis acid catalysis for the functionalization and arylation of glycine derivatives and peptides

A relay catalysis protocol for the functionalization of alpha-amino acids and dipeptides using a combination of visible-light photoredox and Lewis acid catalysis has been developed.
