Variation in three centipede species of the genus Otostigmus and its bearing on species discrimination (Chilopoda; Scolopendromorpha; Scolopendridae)

Individual variation in populations of three species of the scolopendromorph centipede genus Otostigmus subgenus Otostigmus (O. spinicaudus (Newport, 1844), O, politus Karsch, 1881 and O, astenus (Kohlrausch, 1881)) is described and the reliability of their characters and those of other members of the subgenus is discussed.
