Quenched protein fluorescence is selectively recovered ('on' state) for bovine serum albumin (BSA) with sodium carboxy methyl cellulose (SCMC) and for pepsin (PS) with chitosan (CS) with starting ultra low concentrations of 0.04 mu M and 0.008 mu M respectively.
