Biopolymeric hollow nanospheres with stabilized structure have been prepared by self-assembly of amphiphatic photocrosslinkable carboxymethyl chitosans in a water medium into hollow nano-capsules and subsequent in situ photo-crosslinking of the photo-reactive functional groups in the shells of the nanocapsules.
