Inner C-arylation of a doubly N-confused porphyrin-Pd complex in toluene-the possibility of a Pd3+ intermediate

An inner C-tolyl substituted Pd2+ complex of a doubly N-confused porphyrin (N2CP) was obtained from the reaction of N2CP and Pd(OAc)(2) in toluene and the structure was revealed by a single crystal X-ray analysis.
