Charge separation in fullerene containing donor-bridge-acceptor molecules

The concept of linking fullerenes to a number of interesting electro- or photoactive species and their subsequent study of intramolecular transfer dynamics between the two moieties is described as a function of excited state energy of the antenna molecule, donor-acceptor distance, and solvent polarity.
