Crystal engineering of hydrogen-bonded assemblies - A progress report

Crystal engineering has progressed considerably in the last five years, and many functional materials and desirable structures are beginning to appear. In this review, the present status of this field with a focus on the use of hydrogen bonding to build up extended networks and infinite architectures is described (see Figure and cover).
