Therapeutic radionuclides and nuclear data

The nuclear data required for the production and endotherapeutic application of radionuclides are outlined. The three types of therapeutic radionuclides, viz. beta (-)-emitters, alpha -emitters and Auger electron emitters, are considered and the role of some beta (+)-emitters in therapy planning is discussed. The status of available data is reviewed.
