Radio transparent, heat-resistant materials for the 21st century

Basic guidelines for research in the synthesis of radio transparent materials for use in aerial fairings and their technological potential in the 21st century are considered. Ways toward the radical improvement of physical and technological properties of ceramic and glass-ceramic radio transparent materials are outlined.
