Photophysics of Ir(III) complexes with oligo(arylene ethynylene) ligands

We report the photophysics of two complexes of the type Ir(ppy)(2)(OAE)(+), where ppy = 2-phenylpyridine and OAE is a pi-conjugated oligo(arylene ethynylene) ligand.
