The predictor-corrector split-step Fourier method (SSFM) is proposed for solving a nonlinear Schrodinger equation, in this letter. In comparison with the symmetrized SSFM, the proposed method greatly decreases the relative error and increases the computing speed by similar to2.8 to similar to5.5 times at the same accuracy.
