Magnetoconvection in rotating stars

Linear and nonlinear properties of magnetoconvection in rotating inviscid fluid are investigated. A time dependent one dimensional nonlinear Landau-Gonzburg equation is derived and analyzed at a supercritical pitchfork bifurcation corresponding to a region 0 < R-m < R-m* (R-m = R-m* corresponds to Takens-Bogdanov bifurcation point).
