The distinctive characters and the systematic position of the genera Lachnogya Menetries, 1849, Netuschilia Reitter, 1904, Klewaria Reitter, 1916 and Lachnodactylus Seidlitz, 1898 in the tribe Lachnogyni of the subfamily Pimeliinae (sensu Doyen & Tschinkel 1982) are discussed. The rotated aedeagus, exhibiting the ventral side exposed dorsally, of Lachnogya and of a new genus, of the tribe Lachnogyini, from the desert of Taklamakan, province of Xing Kiang, China, is described and figured. Several characters suggest relationship of this genus with other Pimeliinae. A new genus is created to receive this new species : Taklamakania lepetzi n. gen., n. sp. A new species from Afghanistan : Lachnogya skopini n. sp. is described. On the other hand, Lachnodactylus has to be transferred to Trachyscelini because its aedeagus is normal, with dorsal side exposed dorsally.
