The recoil corrected continuum shell model is employed to calculate the 148degrees, p+Be-7 excitation function and identify the nature of the structures in those cross sections. Asymptotic normalization constants for the B-8 ground state are also provided. The ground state is nearly an even mix of channel spins one and two. The R-matrix formalism is then used to clarify the use of asymptotic normalization constants.
