DABCO catalyzed addition of selenosulfonates to alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones

In the presence of DABCO (30 mol%), the addition of various selenosulfonates to alpha,beta-unsaturated ketones proceeded smoothly to give the corresponding adducts in good yields under mild conditions.
