Conical quasioptical dielectric resonator

A dielectric resonator of the new type-conical quasioptical dielectric resonator-is proposed. The dependence of the resonance oscillation frequency, the quality factor, and the electric field distribution on the cone angle of such a resonator with a conducting screen in the base plane has been experimentally studied in the 8-mm (Ka-band) wavelength range.
