Facile synthesis of 3(alpha,beta-diaryl vinyl)indoles under conventional and solvent-free microwave irradiation

An efficient route for the synthesis of 3-diarylvinylindoles has been developed by employing phosphorylchloride as a reagent under conventional conditions and microwave irradiation using K-10 montmorillonite clay as a solid support.
