alpha-Addition of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds to acetylenic ketones catalyzed by triphenylphosphine

The present work describes a simple way of synthesizing multifunctional compounds by alpha-addition of 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds to acetylenic ketones catalyzed by triphenylphosphine in moderate to good yields.
