Analytically tractable case of fuzzy c-means clustering

In this paper, we offer a simple and accurate clustering algorithm which was derived as a closed-form analytical solution to a cluster fit function minimization problem. As a result, the algorithm finds the global minimum of the fit function, and combines exceptional efficiency with optimal clustering results. (c) 2005 Pattern Recognition Society.
