Direct synthesis of ordered mesoporous silica functionalized by Si-H groups

We present the synthesis of an ordered mesoporous silica bearing functional hydrosilane groups (Si-H) by co-condensation under acidic conditions of tetraethoxysilane and triethoxysilane in the presence of Brij 76, a non-ionic structure-directing agent.
