Zirconyl chloride (=dichlorooxozirconium) as an efficient catalyst for one-pot multicomponent synthesis of homoallylic amines

Zirconyl chloride (ZrOCl2) catalyzes efficiently the one-pot three component reactions of aldehydes, amines, and allyltributylstannane at room temperature to furnish the corresponding homoallylic amines in short reaction times and in excellent yields.
