The surface tension and viscosity of molybdenum have been determined by the oscillation drop technique in conjunction with a vacuum electrostatic levitation furnace. These properties are reported over wide temperature ranges, covering the liquid state above and below the melting temperature (T-m = 2896 K). Over the 2650-3000 K temperature range, the surface tension and the viscosity can respectively be expressed as sigma(T) = 2.29 x 10(3) - 0.26(T - T-m) (mN m(-1)) and eta(T) = 0.27exp[73 x 10(3)/(RT)] (mPa s).
