An efficient and mild condensation reaction of 6-aminouracil derivatives with various aromatic aldehydes and ethyl or methyl acetoacetate was performed in the presence of catalytic amounts of H-14[NaP5W30O110]/SiO2 as a recyclable, eco-friendly, and green nano-catalyst to afford the desired pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidine derivatives in good to excellent yields.
