The improved dinuclear system model is effective in describing the isotopic distributions of the Ca-48 + U-238 reaction, while only partially successful in the Ca-48 + Cm-248 reaction. Experimental and theoretical data from multinucleon transfer reactions suggest that the isotopic distributions of the Ca-48 + U-238 reaction system are shifted towards the neutron-rich side above Pb compared to the Xe-136 + Pb-208 reaction, except for the isotopic distribution of Bi.
The reaction systems Ca-48 + U-238 and Ca-48 + (CM)-C-248 are investigated within the improved dinuclear system model+GEMINI++. The theoretical results show that the distributions of isotopes in the Ca-48 + U-238 reaction are well described with the model. For the Ca-48 + Cm-248 reaction, the model partly describes well the experimental production cross sections. Experimental and theoretical data from multinucleon transfer reactions indicate that the isotopic distributions of the Ca-48 + U-238 reaction system above Pb are shifted toward the neutron-rich side as compared to the Xe-136 + Pb-208 reaction except the isotopic distribution of Bi.
