Ultrasensitive detection of dopamine via electrochemical route on spindle-like α-Fe2O3 Mesocrystals/rGO modified GCE

Jun Liu et al.

Summary: By developing a spindle-like α-Fe2O3/reduced-graphene-oxide composite modified glassy carbon electrode, a highly sensitive electrochemical detection method for DA has been established. The method shows high sensitivity, wide linear detection range, and successful detection of DA in real human serum samples.

Detection of chlorantraniliprole residues in tomato using field-deployable MIP photonic sensors

Ezequiel Rossi et al.

Summary: A photonic sensor based on inversed opal molecular imprinted polymer (MIP) film was developed to detect chlorantraniliprole (CHL) residue in tomatoes. The sensor displayed shifts in reflection spectra when incubated in CHL concentrations between 0.5 and 10 μg L-1, with stable values reached after about 30 minutes. This promising technology could be used as an economical and field-deployable screening tool for detecting CHL in crops.

Biochar-Supported Cu2+/Cu+ Composite as an Electrochemical Ultrasensitive Interface for Ractopamine Detection

Liping Cao et al.

Summary: This study developed an electrochemical biosensor using a biochar-supported Cu2+/Cu+ composite as an electrochemical sensing interface for detecting ractopamine in pork. The sensor showed excellent electrochemical sensing ability with ultralow detection limit and high sensitivity, demonstrating its practicality for food safety control.
