Recent Advances in the Theory and Application of Nanofiltration: a Review

Different physiological responses of C3 and C4 plants to nanomaterials

Summary: The study found that C4 plants exhibited higher resilience to nanomaterial stress compared to C3 plants, with significant decreases in chlorophyll content and Fv/Fm levels in rice but not in amaranth and maize. C3 plants also showed higher nanomaterial uptake compared to C4 plants. TEM results revealed structural changes in rice chloroplasts due to CuO NPs, while no significant alterations were observed in maize. This study provides a new perspective on the impact of nanomaterials on plants.
