The first catalytic enantioselective Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi reaction

Herein we report the first example of a catalytic enantioselective Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi reaction performed with a catalytic amount of chiral chromium complex. A large variety of non-stereogenic and stereogenic reactive halides can be added to aldehydes to afford the corresponding alcohols with excellent stereoselectivity using a catalytic amount of chiral chromium complex (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd All rights reserved.
