Specific heat of organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu[N(CN)2]Br under a magnetic field parallel to the conducting plane

Specific heat and magnetoresistance of the organic superconductor kappa-(BEDT-TTF)(2)Cu[N(CN)(2)]Br were measured simultaneously at temperatures near the superconducting transition. The magnetic field was aligned exactly along the conducting plane. We obtained a steep slope of the upper critical held near T-c. The results are discussed from the viewpoint of the paramagnetic Pauli limit.
