Synthesis of ZnO with and without microwaves

Zinc oxide was crystallized by the decomposition of zinc nitrate under alkaline conditions with and without microwaves. Zinc oxide particles of various sizes and shapes were prepared under aqueous conditions using microwaves. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
