A complete set of total and dissociative electron impact cross-sections of vibrationally excited O-2 molecule, through the Schumann-Runge transition, have been calculated using the impact-parameter method. The results shows an intricate behaviour of cross-sections for both bound-bound, bound-continuum transitions as a function of initial vibrational quantum number. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
