Level statistics and transition distributions of 30P -: art. no. 054305

Level statistics and reduced transition probability distributions have been analyzed over the region E-x =0-8014 keV in P-30 and compared to previous results from Al-26. The level statistics in P-30 show clear evidence of broken isospin symmetry and are very similar to those from Al-26. Transition distributions in the two nuclides are different, but both suggest that the broken symmetry also affects the transitions.
