Generation of arbitrary Dicke states in spinor Bose-Einstein condensates

We demonstrate that the combination of two-body collisions and applied Rabi pulses makes it possible to prepare arbitrary Dicke (spin) states as well as maximally entangled states by appropriate sequencing of external fields. (C) 2001 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
