7-O-(6-O-benzoyl-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-rutin from leaves of Canthium dicoccum

A new flavonol glycoside, characterized as 7-O-(6-O-benzoyl-beta -D-glucopyranosyl)-rutin (1), has been isolated from the leaves of Canthium dicoccum. Detailed H-1 COSY, HSQC, HMBC and TOCSY NMR as well as positive and negative electrospray MS and MS/MS data have been provided for the new compound. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
