Homogeneous semiconductors exhibit spin-band splitting and displacements under spatially periodic external magnetic fields, which are more clearly defined than in diluted magnetic semiconductor superlattices. We study the influence of the geometrical parameters and the spin-field interaction on the electronic transport properties. We show that by varying the external magnetic field one can easily block the transmission of either the spin-up or the spin-down electrons.
