Micro-synchrotron X-ray fluorescence of cadmium-challenged corn roots

Micro-synchrotron X-ray fluorescence was carried out to examine the metal distribution in cadmium-challenged com (Zea mays) roots. The results suggest that cadmium alters calcium distribution in the root tissue. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
