The method of fundamental solutions for the calculation of the eigenvalues of the Helmholtz equation

We investigate the application of the method of fundamental solutions (MFS) for the calculation of the eigenvalues of the Helmholtz equation in the plane subject to homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions.
