A water-medium screen printing technique was developed for making mesoporous TiO2 electrodes by using two types of commercial nanocrystalline TiO2 powders and three types of water-soluble cellulosic thickeners. Treatment of the electrodes with a TiCl4 aqueous solution improved the overall conversion efficiency of the dye-sensitized solar cells based on these mesoporous TiO2 electrodes.
