Coronary artery patency following long-term successful engraftment 14 years after bone marrow transplantation in the Hurler syndrome

The coronary arteries in a patient with the Hurler Syndrome appear only minimally affected by the deposition of glycosaminoglycans 14 years after successful bone marrow engraftment. This finding is added to the previously reported salutary effects of transplant on large airways, cardiac function, hepatic morphology, and central nervous system function.
